Return & Refund Policy
Merchandise must be returned within 30 days of order delivery.
Merchandise must be unopened, unused, and in the original packaging.
All returns must include the original packing slip in the package, listing the items you are sending back, so we know who it came from.
If an item is returned to us in an unsuitable condition, your return will be refused.
All orders will incur a flat $5 return handling cost, which will be deducted from the amount to be refunded to you. Please note that original shipping charges are also non-refundable. Please be aware that although some of our items are offered with free shipping, our actual outbound shipping costs will be deducted from the return refund.
Return shipping label cost is at your expense. You can choose to return the product by yourself, or you can opt to purchase the return shipping label from us. If you choose to purchase the label from us, the cost will be deducted from your original purchase amount. When you are ready to start your return, contact us so we can give you further instructions.
After your return is received, in most cases your refund will automatically go back to the original form of payment used for the purchase.
Refunds will be processed within approximately 7 to 10 business days after we receive your returned items.
We are not responsible for any items that are returned to us by mistake. If you want the product to be shipped back again, first ensure that you gave us the correct address. Please note that in order to proceed with this new shipment, you would need to pay the shipping cost of this second shipment. For more information, please contact us here.
If you believe your package is lost by the shipping company, you have up to 10 days after an item is marked as delivered to report your missing package. Americanflat is not responsible for lost packages reported beyond 10 days post-delivery. Please ensure that you provide a valid shipping address that is attended to and monitored during the day if your mail-receiving area is not secure.
Any merchandise marked "Non-Returnable” cannot be returned, see the list of our non-returnable items below.
Please note that we cannot accept returns on the following items:
- Washed or Used items
- Final Sale items
- Print-on-Demand Products
- Wall Art
To confirm the return policy for any item, visit the item's product page and review the Shipping & Returns section under the Add to Cart button, where it’s clearly stated whether the item is returnable or not.
Damaged or Defective items
On the rare occasion that your item is delivered to you damaged or defective, you must contact us within 14 days of receipt for us to be able to immediately send you a return shipping label and a replacement. Note that if you don’t contact us within this timeframe, we will not be able to offer this amazing guarantee. Your replacement will be prepared and shipped upon the delivery of your defective product to the career center. All defective items cost run by us, so you just have to worry about choosing the right colors of your amazing project.
To be able to fulfill your delivery needs, we start processing your order as soon as we get it. That’s why we, unfortunately, do not take cancelations for any of our orders. Thank you for your understanding.
Unfortunately currently, we do not take exchanges. You can simply return your item when applicable and repurchase the item of your choosing!
